I saw two shooting stars last night
I wished on them but they were only satellites

Spent some time outside last night – looking for Perseids…
Saw three shooting stars – and a bat!…
Made a wish (on the stars – not on the bat!)…
Seemed a reasonable night’s work – so I called it a day – (if you see what I mean)…
Got a crick in my neck!…
